We are pleased to announce that Are Stenvik will join BA-HR as a partner with effect from 1st of January 2011.
Are Stenvik has been working at the University of Oslo’s Department of Private Law since 1996, and has been a professor since 2002. He completed a PhD thesis on patent protection in 2001 and is among the country’s leading authorities in the field of intellectual property law. Are has vast experience of teaching and has published a number of scientific books and articles, especially within the fields of patent and trademark law. He formerly worked as a lawyer at BA-HR from 1990-1996.
With Are Stenvik as part of our team our expertise and impact are greatly enhanced, especially within intellectual property law and the law of torts, allowing BA-HR to consolidate its position within these important fields.
