Some students decide quite early on that they want to become commercial lawyers. Others are unsure. What does everyday life in a leading commercial firm really involve? If you’d like to know more about working at BA‑HR, then we would love to give you the opportunity to find out through our trainee programme.
BA‑HR’s trainee programme is designed to give you a realistic picture of life as a commercial lawyer. During what is normally a six-week period you get a foretaste of what you can expect from a career with BA‑HR, and the opportunities and challenges we offer our lawyers.
Recruiting the right people is the key to our success, so we give our trainee programme a high priority. As a trainee, you can expect to work alongside experienced lawyers on stimulating professional challenges, as well as enjoy an informal, social atmosphere. The trainee programme can act as a springboard to full employment with BA‑HR, and many of our current lawyers started their careers as trainees with the firm. Regardless of whether your time with us results in a job offer, however, we will do our best to ensure that your six weeks with BA‑HR will be both enjoyable and inspiring.
At any given time we have around 2-3 students working as trainees at our office, and we consider job applications throughout the year. Typically, trainees will be in their third year of studies.
