One of Norway’s most experienced teams for transactions within the electricity sector, we also focus on strategic and legal issues relating to ‘green energy’, electricity tax and the framework regulation of the electricity production and distribution sectors.

- Assisting Aker ASA with its oil and gas-related activities, including M&A work in Norway and internationally
- Advising Talisman Energy Resources, alongside Slaughter and May, on its c.£1.2 billion acquisition of Paladin Resources
- Assisting a number of entrants or re-entrants into the Norwegian oil and gas market, including Aker Exploration, Altinex Oil and OMV Exploration and Production
- Acting for Statkraft in its major transactions during the last decade
